In May 2021, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from NYU with a Bachelor's degree in both Journalism and Spanish. I pursued an honors senior thesis through the Arthur L. Carter Journalism School which explored the importance of cross-generational conversation in healing from the trauma of the pandemic. As a reporter, first in television news and now in print, I have covered politics and culture, often with an eye toward how social issues inform our government systems and ways of thinking. I feel strongly that by telling true stories thoroughly, with both nuance and humanity, journalists can breathe life into tolerance.
