I'm an Emmy-award winning digital journalist with over 20 years of experience in multi-platform communications. I am a creative problem solver who works well under pressure. Writing clearly and accurately is my passion. I have experience with investigations breaking news, social media, photography, audio, video shooting and editing. I am always eager to learn and experiment while focused on overall website editing and production. At the Miami Herald, I won a Green Shade Award and the company's Hero award. I assisted with the earthquake in Haiti, presidential elections and hurricane aftermaths in South Florida. At WPLG Local 10 News, I spent days reporting live on social media from the courtroom during the George Zimmerman trial in Sanford and the Nikolas Cruz trial in Fort Lauderdale. I also helped to cover the massacres in Orlando and Parkland with compassion and empathy.
