Claim your profileI’m a multilingual journalist specialising in co-operatives, credit unions, and community-led economic models, focusing on international coverage and innovation in public-interest media. As the International Editor at Co-operative News, a print and online magazine covering the global co-operative movement, I manage relationships with our international partners and lead projects with a global scope. My work includes attending conferences as a journalist or session moderator, producing multilingual newsletters, and creating multimedia content for international organisations. Fluent in Romanian, English, French, and Spanish, I use these skills daily to conduct interviews, research, and audience outreach across diverse regions. In addition to my role at Co-op News, I produce the Talking Credit Unions podcast for the Swoboda Research Centre, exploring issues affecting credit unions in Britain and Ireland. I hold a Master’s in Web Journalism from the University of Sheffield and a PGCert in Journalism Leadership and Innovation from the University of Central Lancashire. The PGCert course has deepened my expertise in strategic planning, innovation frameworks, market analysis, financial forecasting, project management, stakeholder engagement, and performance measurement. My work is driven by a passion for journalism and a strong belief in the role of public-interest media in supporting democracy and community empowerment. I'm always happy to connect with fellow media professionals and collaborators so feel free to reach out if you’d like to connect.
