Claim your profileI have spent my career as a visual journalist in every level of the field from intern to photo/video journalist to editor to director of photography to university professor. There have been many changes in the last 15 years with respect to technology, new media and how photojournalists respond to and fit into the changing landscape. I’ve had to adapt and acquire new skills to remain on the cutting edge of the field. I currently shoot and edit still photographs and video daily as well as write stories when needed in my role at the Sun Sentinel. I also teach Photojournalism and Advanced Photojournalism at Florida Atlantic University. In addition, I've started my own business, My Sweet Petite (www.mysweetpetite.etsy.com), where I design, manufacture and market dresses and accessories for girls sizes 2-6, and my line, Drool Ease (www.droolease.etsy.com), teething solutions for babies.
