At WDEF-TV, I joined as a Multimedia Journalist where I learned how to film, report, interview, edit, produce, write, present, etc. I soon filled the role of Weekend Anchor/Reporter/Producer. During this role, I had the responsibility of reporting and self-managing to compile a weekend news broadcast. In addition to reporting on the weekends, I would monitor our social media channels and craft relevant news articles. This gave me experience producing for online audiences and our TV viewers. Becoming a weekend anchor helped prepare me for the opportunity I was offered at the start of 2024. I am now our Morning Anchor! You can find me alongside the legendary Chip Chapman each morning from 5am-7am and then again at noon on News 12
