Had a two-year stint as a freelancer, writing, editing and commissioning for a number of travel and lifestyle clients, including The Times, The Independent, The Telegraph, The Nudge and Lonely Planet, among many others. Prior to that, I spent twelve years as assistant and then deputy editor of Lonely Planet magazine in the UK, developing and evolving the award-winning and market-leading title from launch, both in print and digital. My passions for strong, cliche-free writing, eye-catching design and world-class photography are equal only to my passion for original travel. Together, these allow me to shape and share content in a way that best engages and immerses the reader. Simply put, I know a good story when I see one.On a logistical level, I have strong project-management skills, with a proven ability to assemble cohesive, well-motivated teams, organise workflow and hit targets within the tightest schedules and budgets. I have wide experience of working with external stakeholders, from PRs to commercial clients. I've previously worked as Special Projects Publishing Manager for Lonely Planet, covering a diverse range of duties, from launching successful new product series to tackling change management.Since 2020, I've also trained and worked as a COVID vaccinator for the NHS, and volunteered for my local hospital in north London.Editor | Journalist/writer | Content-creator | Publisher
