I am a passionate storyteller and journalist working at KCCI 8 Des Moines, Iowa's News Leader! During the week, I anchor the morning traffic and bring Central Iowans the latest news they need to begin each day. Before stepping into the Right Now/Traffic Anchor role, I served as a reporter/MMJ, typically reporting live from the field on breaking news, politics, community events and more. I continue to serve as a reporter, with a focus on people-oriented stories that capture the essence of the community! Before kickstarting my full-time career in Iowa, I gained experience in the Windy City, serving as the Programming/Promotions Intern at WLS-TV, ABC 7 Chicago where I worked closely with the creative services and programming department to curate various ABC 7 broadcasts, specials, and shows. I graduated from DePaul University in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and a minor in public relations. In my time at DePaul, I was a Reporter/Anchor for Good Day DePaul, Radio DePaul host, DePaul Dance Team member, and had my work featured in the DePaul Blue Book anthology and the DePaul First Year Writing Showcase.
