Claim your profileI'm a reporter for The Marshall Project and I've been writing about the criminal justice system for more than a decade. My work has spurred state and federal investigations and has been awarded numerous honors, including Harvard's Goldsmith Prize for Investigative Reporting, the Collier Prize for State Government Accountability, and the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award for Criminal Justice. I'm a graduate of Columbia's Graduate School of Journalism, where I have also taught investigative reporting.
