Claim your profileAlonzo Small is a Digital Content Manager at WGN-TV in Chicago, Illinois. A military veteran, he also worked as a Breaking News Reporter for the News Journal in Delaware before shifting to WRIC-TV in a digital producing role. His previous work in Richmond, Virginia includes the political turmoil that followed Virginia Governor Ralph Northam’s blackface scandal. The entire WRIC-TV News team was the proud recipient of the 2020 Regional Edward R. Murrow Award. He was also a part of the coverage, that took first place by the Virginias Associated Press Broadcasters for “Outstanding News Operation of the Virginians.” Small served as a Sailor with four years of service in the United States Navy, including time overseas.
