I am a German and American journalist currently working as an associate editor at Foreign Policy magazine. (On the side, I am also the U.S. columnist for ZEIT SPRACHEN's Spotlight magazine.) Prior to joining FP in 2020, I was an undergrad at Brown, where I studied international relations and wrote my thesis on the Erdogan government's electoral outreach to the Turkish diaspora in Germany. A native speaker of both German and English, I am also fluent in Arabic and French. I have experience living, working, and studying in numerous countries across Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
