Native English-speaking senior editor, journalist, and media specialist with over 15 years of experience. After seven years of working in legal marketing, focusing on iGaming, blockchain, and FinTech, I decided to pursue a career in journalism. Over the last 15 years, I have become known as a highly skilled editor, journalist, TV presenter, lecturer, and mentor. I specialise in editing news articles from non-native English speakers and turning them around efficiently, ensuring they comply with legal, style, structure, and grammatical standards. While at Euractiv, a pan-European politics and policy media, I was an editor for The Capitals, a newsletter sent to some 100k subscribers. I edited up to 11,000 words between 5 am-7:30 am and then dealt with the regular pipeline flow until early afternoon. As a journalist, my stories have been published internationally, resulting in government spats, a prime minister's resignation, court cases against senior officials, convictions, international scandals, and law changes. My work has been cited in the European Parliament, the Council of Europe Plenary, the Commission, and reports by RSF, Transparency International, Freedom House, various EP and CoE committees, and multiple other NGO reports and studies. I am a highly dedicated individual who thrives on creating excellent journalism and enjoys helping those around her improve and succeed. I tailor individual 1-2-1 training sessions for journalists and help them improve themselves personally and professionally. In addition, I am a guest lecturer at multiple universities and higher education institutions, teaching a range of journalism-related topics. When not working, I travel through Albania, make documentaries and photographs, and train for my next half-marathon. I am a published author, and my third book will be released in June 2024. I also play the piano and violin, enjoy painting, and spending time with my family and pack of rescue pets.
