Claim your profileFor nearly 10 years, I have been a sports journalist, covering high school and college sports in Minnesota, California, Texas, South Carolina and Kentucky. I spent the bulk of my career so far covering preps where I was able to highlight various stories that ranged from a high school basketball coach and his wife dealing with two miscarriages and a high school football player recovering from cancer to an underdog high school wrestling team making its first appearance in the state tournament. In 2021, I made the move to covering college athletics full-time with my first beat being Clemson University. The first game I covered was a top-5 matchup between the Tigers and Georgia, the eventual national champion. The next year, I joined the Louisville beat where I am currently covering the Cardinals' football, women's basketball and baseball teams.I credit the beginning of my journey to the internships and experience I received as a student at Baylor University where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations and New Media in May 2014.
