Claim your profileAlexander Fury is a fashion critic, author and journalist. He was the first men's critic of American Vogue.com, covering the Winter 2016 and Spring 2017 menswear seasons. From 2013-2016, he was the Fashion Editor of The Independent, i and The Independent on Sunday. He was awarded the inaugural Editorial Intelligence Fashion Commentator of the Year Award for his work at the publication. In 2018, Fury received the Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco. From 2012-2013, he was the Editor of Conde Nast biannual Love magazine and prior to this, Fury held the position of Fashion Director of SHOWstudio from 2008-2012. Following his foundation in art at Manchester Metropolitan University, Fury studied Fashion History and Theory at Central Saint Martins in London.
