I have ultimate responsibility for the BBC's editorial decision making in Northern Ireland. I'm passionate about public service and, in particular, public service broadcasting. I have 28 years experience in news journalism, including a decade as editor/Head of News and Current Affairs, making some of the most popular (and award winning) programmes, per head of population, in the entire BBC.
