Adam Schumes

Adam Schumes grew up in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from California State University Northridge where he received his Bachelor degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcasting. While there, Adam worked as a Sports Reporter for the KCSN 88.5 Radio Station and also reported and anchored for the college television station. He won the Mark of Excellence Award from the Society of Professional Journalists for the category titled “Best Radio Sports Reporting”. Adam has worked as a Production Assistant for NFL Network and K-ABC7, and Reported and Anchored for Cougar News. He spent most of his days traveling to sports games where he interviewed many athletes as well as their coaches. Adam’s love for sports started at a very young age which led him to compete on the Indiana University Purdue University swim team. Adam’s knowledge and passion for the sporting world has brought him to his career as a Sports Reporter/Anchor, and his love for writing sport articles.
