Claim your profileI love writing, but I hate writing about myself. So please bear with me as I try to do just that. Currently, I am a student at Rhodes College, and I am double majoring in English and the Classics. I'm not quite sure what drew me to the Classics. Maybe, it's the thrill I get when I tell people that I spend most of my days translating ancient Greek and that I actually enjoy it...a lot. As for my English major, well, I've always enjoyed reading and writing, so an English major with a Creative Writing focus just made sense. Throughout my courses and my extracurriculars at Rhodes, I have strengthened my skills in writing, editing, revision, and research--skills that I hope to continue to strengthen in my future career. Because of this, as a soon-to-be graduate, I am looking for opportunities in writing, editing, or publishing.
