Claim your profileAs of December 2020, I'm the editor of The Floyd Press in Floyd, Va., a community centric newspaper founded in 1891. It is my goal to put Floyd first in all of my reporting and in every edition of the the Press.I have worked as a reporter/managing editor for The Mountain Times in Boone, N.C., as a reporter for the Watauga Democrat and as an editor for the Blowing Rocket from July 2019 to September 2020. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelor's degree in journalism in December 2019. I have experience in in digital design, writing and reporting, business writing, video producing and editing, and AP Style. I enjoy writing and learning about all beats, and I was the editor of Blowing Rock: My Hometown (2020).
