Claim your profileI’ve had a passion for storytelling since I was 10 years old.My experience involves more than a decade in journalism and strategic communications, including work as an award-winning evening news anchor, general assignment news reporter and investigative reporter in markets across California, Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia. I’ve also brought forward exclusive community partnerships with established organizations, including the American Cancer Society, and have been involved as a volunteer with organizations, like the American Cancer Society and the Salvation Army. Furthermore, I've been able to grow as an educator. This includes being an adjunct professor in journalism at Florida A&M University's School of Journalism & Graphic Communication and a member of the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Communications Journalism Department's Advisory Council. The feeling of being able to serve our audiences by telling stories and providing information to them through multiple platforms is second to none.Outside of journalism, my other passion is music. I play guitar and have been in multiple rock and blues bands.Currently represented by Carolyn Kane with The NWT Group.
