I have previously served as the pioneer head of the newsroom at HumAngle Media, a Nigerian media house focusing on insecurity, climate and development.I have over 15 years of experience in print and online newsrooms where I have interacted with journalists from within and outside Nigeria. At the HumAngle, I managed the newsroom and coordinated the activities of reporters in-house and freelancers. I have also performed the same functions during my four-year stay at the International Centre for Investigative Reporting (ICIR) where I edited and commissioned over 350 impactful investigative projects. I also managed a long list of campus journalists across various higher institutions of learning in Nigeria who are considered the future of journalism.Several campus journalists that I mentored have been published by global outlets such as the Pulitzer Center, The Guardian of UK, and Al-jazeera to mention a few.
