Claim your profileI am a multimedia journalist with over a decade of experience, including the past six years as Seoul Bureau Chief and Regional Correspondent for Voice of America (VOA). In this role, I lead a team of about five staff and help oversee VOA's English-language coverage of Northeast Asia.While in Seoul, I have reported from more than a dozen Asian countries. I regularly produce TV stories, create explainers for social media, and cover breaking news, in-depth analysis, and investigative features on topics ranging from geopolitics to human rights. I also frequently appear in live interviews with VOA affiliates and other media outlets across Asia and beyond.Previously, in Washington, DC, I covered U.S. foreign policy for VOA from the White House, State Department, and Pentagon, participating in press pools and international trips while reporting on major global events.
