I've written for titles including the Big Issue in the North, the Sun, Daily Mail, Daily Star as well as a range of music titles, and more recently worked as head of news at the Newcastle Chronicle and as weekend newseditor at PA Media.In August 2021 I joined the news desk at the Scottish Sun where I am news editor at the Scottish Sun on Sunday. My duties also include home page editing and managing the rota for the reporting team across seven days, as well as providing support for the daily news operation.I previously edited the specialist Media Lawyer newswire, on behalf of PA, and I am also a mentor for Journalism Diversity Fund recipients.In my reporting days I was named Young Journalist of the Year at the O2 North-West Media Awards 2012, and I was highly commended in the same category in 2011.
