A senior editor and newsroom leader with excellent news judgment, strong management skills, and a data-informed approach, I have more than 20 years' experience in national news across digital, print and mobile, with a track record of managing change and successfully delivering high profile projects. I lead on the use of generative AI in PA’s newsrooms, have transformed our digital services and established our internationally accredited fact-checking unit.Responsible for digital, wire and print production operations across the agency, I drive development of our EANA award-winning news platform – bringing together all our coverage across video, images, graphics, words and social media wherever our customers need it – and lead more than 40 staff in five teams, while supporting other departments and managing budgets across our content division.Day-to-day, I oversee production of around 300 news stories and 100 updates on breaking stories, while liaising with customers at some of the world’s biggest media brands. I have extensive experience running news production operations for the UK’s biggest breaking news stories in recent years, including the Covid pandemic, the deaths of Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh, Brexit, royal weddings, riots, budgets and several general elections.
