Claim your profileI've had a long and enjoyable career in B2B publishing, across various sectors (in print and online), including financial services, aerospace, defence, security, space, aid and development, travel retail and the wine & spirits industry.A graduate of the London College of Printing (1981) - now the London College of Communication, a constituent college of the University of the Arts London (UAL) - I have worked predominantly in B2B and specialist bespoke publishing. From working on the Civil Aviation Authority Yearbook, I became editor of the City’s annual review, The Square Mile (1994 - 1997), the International Wine & Spirits Review (1991 - 1994), Global Duty Free (1995 - 1999) and then the International Aid & Trade Review and Directory (2000 - 2005). I have conceived and edited several special commemorative publications including NATO 50th Anniversary 1949 ~ 1999 (for the Washington Summit), One Hundred Years of Powered Flight 1903 ~2003 (for the Royal Aeronautical Society), Victory in Europe & The Road Ahead, 60th Anniversary, 1945 ~2005, United States Air Force Founding Centennial & 60th Anniversary 1907~1947~2007, The New Scottish Enlightenment, ADS ~ Delivering the Promise and Malta, 50th Anniversary of Independence, 1964 ~ 2014.I have also organised several aid, trade and development conferences at the Jacob Javits Center in New York and Palexpo in Switzerland, working with international aid agencies e.g. IFRC, ICRS, UN agencies and NGOs.Most recently I edited Bermuda - Sailing to Success (on behalf of the Government of Bermuda for the Americas Cup in 2017), Mauritius, 50th Anniversary of Independence, 1968 ~ 2018 and completed the 10th Edition of Jersey ~ First for Finance, which I've edited since its launch in 2007.Day to day I provide the news for and edit www.adsadvance.co.uk, the communication channel produced by the Times Group in partnership with ADS (the UK trade organisation advancing Britain's aerospace, defence, security and space sectors), consisting of a (printed) quarterly magazine, an online daily news service and a weekly newsletter.
