Claim your profileI’m currently the Senior Producer at Rolling Stone where I will be working on the development and production of video across the brand. I'm formerly the Supervising Producer of Social Video at Complex where I oversaw original social video production and development in the studio, in the field and beyond. I defined and honed what Complex’s social video would be, from look and feel, brand guidelines and approach. With my unique background in production, editing, social/digital strategy and operations, I was able to transform Complex into a social video powerhouse, launching 100s of videos a month with a small team. I also honed my research, scripting, hosting and interview skills for junkets and special events like the Oscars. In 2024, I also directed and produced for YouTube. I was the director of YouTube series "West Date Ever" which has gathered over 26+M impressions. I also supervised over the celeb-focused YouTube series “That’s Deep” and “What’s In Your Phone?” I'm a two-time Webby Award-nominated and Emmy Award-winning video producer/editor based in Brooklyn. I'm passionate about telling stories that celebrate and explore all facets of culture and forms of storytelling. I consider myself a one-woman band but love to collaborate and work in teams. I have a wide range of experience in developing, producing and editing nonfiction video and executing projects in all media forms. From social video for YouTubers and documentaries, to episodic television and live events, I’ve done it all. I have experience working on branded partner content with OWN, Hulu, Dove, Amazon, and AFI. I've also developed and produced/edited marketing video (trailers, teasers) for product launches, events and more. I've now worked on two Emmy-nominated series, PBS Digital's Self-Evident (Nominated in 2020) and OWN's Black Women OWN the Conversation (Winner in 2019). I'm a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I studied photojournalism and Middle Eastern/Islamic studies.
