Claim your profileI am a Canada correspondent for The Wall Street Journal, based in Toronto. I've been based in New York for most of my career as a financial journalist. I was at ground zero for the Sept. 11 attacks and led coverage of the financial crisis in 2008 for the Deal Magazine. I joined WSJ in 2011 to write about corporate finance and management for CFO Journal. I've also written about music, sports, architecture and pop culture for the newspaper. I've independently produced several films, including Black February, a feature-length documentary, which screened at festivals in the United States and Europe. I've also made music videos, including one for Grammy-winning rock band, Arcade Fire.
