Claim your profileI'm a deadline-focused reporter who has worked in a variety of beats for the largest newspaper companies in South Carolina and Connecticut. Those beats include breaking news, housing and development and government reporting. I've learned how to multitask and shift priorities on dime to break stories and continue to produce content. I helped establish the Pulitzer Prize-winning The Post and Courier's new office in Florence, South Carolina. There, my coworkers and I and a team of editors defined our beats in order to better report on the Pee Dee region of the Palmetto State and understand what readers in the area engaged with. I was also on the ground when a missing F-35 fighter jet went missing in SC and got the confirmation from the military that it had been found. I spent all day searching for it. In Stamford, I started as a zoning and development reporter, an issue that is very important to a city with little undeveloped land and a housing shortage. A couple months into the job, though, I became the government reporter and covered the 40-person Board of Representatives, the elected lawmaking body of the city.
