I am a current sportswriter, basketball analyst and PR expert working with the WNBA's Chicago Sky and USA Basketball. I graduated with my B.A. from North Carolina State University in 2022 and then obtained my M.S. from Northwestern University in 2023. I began my career in sports as a writer, picking up bylines for SB Nation, Basketball Insiders, Fansided and Winsidr. I also served as managing editor for N.C. State's student newspaper, Technician. At Technician, I oversaw the hiring of between 50-100 staff members and was a part of the selection committee that determined that volume's editorial board. I also served as the men's and women's basketball beat writer during my time at the university. In addition to sports writing, I was the vice president of the Sports Analytics Club at N.C. State and still maintain projects in coding languages like R. I'm familiar with R, HTML, CSS, Pyton and more. I also served as a sportscaster for N.C. State's on-campus company, PackTV and was a production intern with the FIeld of 68 podcasting network. I have experience in the Adobe, Microsoft and Google suites. After graduating from N.C. State, I moved to Chicago to obtain my M.S. in sports media. Going to Northwestern afforded me opportunities like covering Super Bowl LVII and the 2023 NBA Draft Combine and G League Elite Camp. During my time at Northwestern, I joined USA Basketball as a writer and special projects employee and the Chicago Sky as the PR Coordinator.
