Claim your profileI've used my versatility to fill a number of roles the past six years at The Blade in Toledo. A 1998 graduate of the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Kansas, my career began as a sports writer, with two years at the Emporia Gazette and six years at the Hutchinson News, both in Kansas. I became a full-time copy editor at the Kennebec Journal and Morning Sentinel newspapers in Maine in 2006, paginating A1 on weekdays and sports sections on frantic weekends. The next move was joining The Blade’s copy desk in 2012, where I also worked on the web desk, editing, preparing and publishing articles and engaging the audience through various social media platforms.
