I am the News Director at TMJ4 News, the leading news station in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. With more than 25 years of experience in broadcast journalism, I am passionate about producing and delivering high-quality, impactful, and representative journalism that serves and reflects the diverse communities in our region. As the News Director, I oversee all aspects of the newsroom's operations, from content strategy and editorial direction to staff management and development. I have led the launch of several successful initiatives, such as the revamped and refocused 4-7p daypart, the differentiated Milwaukee Tonight newscast, and the year-long Project: Drive Safer campaign. I have also guided the news team to achieve multiple awards and recognitions, including "best digital" team by the Edward R. Murrow Awards, Region 4, in 2022 and 2023. I am always looking for new ways to enhance our storytelling, engage our audience, and foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
