Claim your profileI am a journalist, essayist, editor, and critic whose work examines how arts and culture reflect, interact with, and influence our realities. By analyzing visual, performance, and literary art, I unpack complex themes such as representation, belonging, beauty, climate change, or historical injustice. Regardless of form, my writing practice employs various literary and research-based strategies to make art writing less siloed and more approachable. This diligence results in work that balances voice, investigation, and curiosity in inventive and engaging ways. I am an associate editor at A Public Space and an adjunct instructor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Previously, I was a Public Programs Coordinator at the National Book Foundation and the 2020 A Public Space editorial fellow. My writing is in and forthcoming in Belt Magazine, New York Times, The Observer, All Arts, Artsy, and Hyperallergic, and has been supported by the Southampton Writers Conference and The Hurston/Wright Foundation. I have an MFA from Columbia University School of the Arts.
