As Editor-in-Chief/Executive Director, I head the team of the Clean Energy Wire, which covers the German Energy Transition out of Berlin, and award-winning klimafakten.de, which supports good climate science communication. Funded by Stiftung Mercator and the European Climate Foundation, Berlin-based CLEW produces and promotes quality journalism about Europe's move to climate neutrality. CLEW provides the starting point for those covering the complex stories, offering background, factsheets, workshops, study tours and networking opportunity. In the past I helped keeping media populated with relevant stories in other ways: as a media coach for press officers, managers and scientists, as lecturer at Kingston University and for 12 years as a correspondent for Reuters, last as Chief Economics Correspondent UK. All this builds on my experiences as journalist, economist and world citizen.
