Four years later she was the beauty and health editor of Vogue. There she worked with many of the finest makeup artists, hair stylists, photographers and health and beauty experts in the world before going freelance after having children, seeking a more flexible working arrangement. During her maternity leave, Susannah consulted for big brands such as P&G and Chanel, and noticed that since she had left Vogue, the internet and the world of blogging had exploded. She recognised a gap for an all-encompassing beauty and health site, and getthegloss.com was born, a place to go for expert health and beauty advice, that cuts through the quagmire of information out there and uses the best makes-up artists/ hairdressers/ stylists/ doctors and therapists in the industry. The aim of GTG is to be the the go-to beauty and health website in the world.Susannah continues to work as a journalist/ editor and help brands creatively build their content both online and in print. She also works with brands to develop and bring product ranges and digital ideas to life. Recently she launched her newsletter THE GLOW GAZETTE which incorporates a holistic view of beauty and wellbeing through Skin, Soul & Sanity.She is also an illustrator and has designed packaging for many projects and brands such as Bramley and Emma Hardie.
