He was previously a Washington correspondent at The Dallas Morning News, covering the intersection of business and politics. Earlier, he covered the energy industry in Texas and business issues before the Texas Legislature.Reddy has received numerous awards for his work in print and online. The Society of American Business Editors and Writers recognized him for coverage of the economy on WSJ.com’s Real Time Economics blog. He won awards from the Associated Press Managing Editors of Texas for best business reporting and best deadline writing. He received the National Press Foundation's Thomas L. Stokes Award for Best Energy Writing for coverage of Texas's electricity grid operator that led to convictions of several officials on organized crime charges. He also received the national print media award from the National Association of Consumer Advocates for stories about credit scoring. Reddy appears on television and radio programs including American Public Media's Marketplace and BBC World News America.
