Claim your profileAs the Director of Student Television at Penn State University, I teach college students the ins and outs of the TV news business, supervise their live newscasts, and help them launch their TV careers when they graduate. I’m also the co-founder of Top News Talent, a media mentoring, coaching and training company that helps on-air and off-air talent with their careers, and works with broadcast groups and stations on staff training. With nearly 40 years of experience in television news, I know all sides of the industry-- I've worked as a news producer, EP, Asst. ND, and spent a decade as a News Director in top 20 markets. Now I teach the top students at one of the nation's best universities, and advise and coach professionals in the TV news industry.
