Claim your profileI am working towards a thriving Australia, through strategic design, policy and advocacy. One in which every Australian has the opportunity to explore their interests irrespective of their circumstances, in an environment that they sustain, nourish, and in turn are sustained and nourished. I am a co-Founder and Director of Meld Studios, an award-winning Australian design studio. I have over 20 years of commercial experience working with large institutions and organisations on complex challenges. I have worked across many different industries with a current focus on public transport infrastructure. I am a Good Design Ambassador. I am the founder of UX Book Club; Conference Director of Australia’s UX Australia conference; and I served as Chair of Interaction|12 – the annual conference of the IxDA for 2012. In 2012-2016 I served on the Judging Panel for the Good Design Awards, judged the Interaction Awards in 2012; and judged the Victorian Premier's Design Awards in 2021 & 2022. I served as President of the Interaction Design Association (IxDA) (2012-2014), and sat on the IxDA Board of Directors from 2009-2014.In 2023 I co-authored the book Designing Tomorrow, written with Martin Tomitsch from the UTS School of Transdisciplinary Design. I hold two Masters degrees (eCommerce and an MBA) from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management and a Bachelors degree in Science (Applied Mathematics) from UTS.
