I am an experienced writer, editor and speaker able to perform exceptionally under intense deadline pressure. My demonstrated abilities are honed from covering major beats from Duke University basketball and the NFL to South Carolina state government. I am proficient reporting and writing compelling stories from events as large as the Final Four and Super Bowl and as small as local golf and tennis tournaments. I have been a frequent radio guest on national networks such as ESPN as well as shows in top markets nationwide. I am comfortable speaking on live television, appearing on CBS's Raleigh-Durham affiliate, WNCN-17, as a college basketball analyst. I have voted on the Associated Press top 25 panel since 2010 and served on the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Board of Directors from 2011-14.
