I’ve worked as a foreign correspondent reporting for ABC news and current affairs from Afghanistan, Iraq, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Zambia and more. Much of this work was as a solo operator, filming my own stories. I’m experienced in visual storytelling, videojournalism and editing, VJ training. I’ve trained cohorts at various organizations in public affairs, presentation, videojournalism and media training. I was a World Press Institute Fellow to the USA in 2011, funded by the UNSW United States Studies Centre. My career has focused on my passions for public broadcasting, international affairs, disaster preparedness and resilience, national security and the military.
