Claim your profileSiegrid Demyttenaere is founding partner and co-editor ofDAMN° magazine and also artistic director of the publication. She is the owner of Waterproof, a visual communication agency with national and international clients in different areas of the design sector. She is co-founder of FonsAndré, a creative residency in the South of France where she also organises and curates exhibitions. In addition, Demyttenaere carries out a number of private assignments as art director for companies and institutions. She teaches at KASK,School of Arts in Ghent, sits on a number of juries and works as an exhibition maker and curator. Her recent projects include the exhibitions La Fête Distordue, The Garden of Eden, Colors, etc. and Young Colors for lille3000; the exhibitions Do The Right DING, Kleureyck, Poème Brut and Design Derby for the Design Museum Gent; the Graduation shows for KASK, a number of ‘Belgium is Design’ exhibitions for Flanders DC, as well as the co-organisation and curation of the DAMN° events and exhibitions in several European cities. In addition, Demyttenaere works as a consultant and curator for the Design Museum Gent, she is involved in the integrated design projects for the new wing DING and is artistic coordinator of Design Fest Gent biennale.
