True Confessions from Both Sides of the Therapy Couch,” is a funny and provocative anthology of essays by therapists as well as patients - authors, journalists, writers, and screenwriters, about their experiences in therapy on both sides of the couch.I am the author of “The Q&A Dating Book,” “Love Lessons From Bad Breakups,” and “The Complete Marriage Counselor.” I am a former editor at Hearst and ivillage.com, and a longtime journalist who has written for a wide range of publications, including Hemispheres, Brides, Marie Claire, vox.com, qz.com and dame.com. In my private practice I work with individuals and couples, both in my New York office by phone and Skype. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a staff therapist at Washington Square Institute and Long Island Consultation Center.I lead groups for creative people who feel blocked as well as relationship seminars around the country and have offered relationship advice on Today, The Early Show, HuffPost Live, Inside Edition and NPR.
