I write about Black and brown companies and race in the business world for the American City Business Journals. I have bylines in the Houston and Boston Business Journal, The Boston Globe, Houstonia Magazine, Poynter, and more. I graduated from Emerson College with a degree in journalism where I also focused on creative narratives and art. I am an immigrant from Pakistan who grew up in Houston. I've also traveled to over 25 countries and have experienced different cultures and customs. I hope to use these experiences to write human interest stories in an ethical and compelling way.
