I am a communication and media professional with a love of words and writing. I plan, write and publish social media content for the Governor-General and Australian Honours and Awards platforms, and I write stories to celebrate those honoured by the Order of Australia whose stories may otherwise have never been heard before their nomination. Before my current role, I was a Senior Content Specialist at Domain, where I would write, plan and produce advice and lifestyle stories for the website and over social media. Before then, I was a news reporter at The Canberra Times, mostly focusing on city news.I am lucky to have experienced a variety of journalism, from also working as a property journalist at Allhomes to working in radio at 2CC. I am and always have been passionate about bringing digestible and important information to audiences.I completed university with the highest GPA of my graduating class, won a Dean’s Excellence Award in every semester of my completed degree as well as the Gordon Burgoyne Memorial Prize for Journalism awarded by the MEAA. I was also the winner of the Journalism Education & Research Association of Australia’s award for best student article (feature above 750 words) in 2022.
