Claim your profileSantiago Mejía is an Emmy Award winning filmmaker and photojournalist on staff at the San Francisco Chronicle. Mejia also co-chairs the West Region Monthly Clip Contest of the National Press Photographers Association. He is the former treasurer of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (Bay Area Chapter). He is an alumnus of Newseum Institute's Chips Quinn Scholars Program for Diversity in Journalism, as well as The New York Times Student Journalism Institute. Mejia joined The Chronicle following the 2016 Thomas Morgan Visual Journalism Internship in Photography at The New York Times.
