Ruthie Polinsky

Ruthie is an Emmy Award winning sports anchor and multimedia journalist/reporter at NBC6 South Florida (WTVJ). Ruthie covers all of the South Florida professional teams including the Miami Dolphins, Miami Heat, Miami Marlins, Florida Panthers, and Inter Miami. Ruthie also covers college sports at the University of Miami and Florida International University. She has a soft spot for high school football, so she jumps on any chance to cover high school sports, too! Ruthie anchors sportscasts during the week and hosts the weekly Sunday night sports show "Sports Final" on NBC6 at 11:30 pm. Prior to arriving in South Florida, Ruthie was a sports anchor/reporter at WPRI in Providence, RI (2017-2020) where she won the 2019 NSMA Rhode Island Sportscaster of the Year award. Prior to her time in New England, she was the weekend sports anchor/reporter at KFDX in Wichita Falls, TX (2015-2017), Ruthie is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan. Go blue!
