My journey as an adult so far has been about taking chances and learning from experiences. I studied MBA (Finance) from Pune University. My first job was in the event management industry. It taught me multi-tasking and managing scares resources.Next job was freelancing as a social media manager and content writer for friends for free. It taught me how to connect and network. It also taught me to take money for the service I provide and the time I invest.Writing gig at www.dnaindia.com was my biggest learning curve. I learned teamwork, journalism, news tracking, breaking news coverage, story writing, social media content production, movie review writing, and copy editing on the job. I started as a sub-editor and made my way to senior copy editor via positions like entertainment writer, pop-culture writer, and Rotten Tomato certified movie reviewer. This job prepared me for the toughest challenges that one might face in at a workplace. The recent freelancing work is teaching me to be patient and be selective. I am focusing more on the quality of the content and writing.
