I’m the editor of TIME’s Asia-Pacific bureau, responsible for steering the publication’s coverage of the region and overseeing global overnight news—journalism that spans every topic from politics to culture and society.I was previously based in Washington, D.C., where I worked for POLITICO Magazine—first as a researcher and ultimately as an associate editor, with a focus on enterprise, visual and interactive features, and analysis. At POLITICO, I wrote and edited stories on immigration, climate, criminal justice, activism, media, law, and more. I also oversaw the magazine's production, factchecking, and freelance administration, and I managed its internship program, among other responsibilities.Born and raised in Los Angeles, I’m a proud member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and a dual Irish citizen.
