Claim your profileRoger is a serial tech entrepreneur with a passion for empowering SMBs with the tools to succeed in a social-first world. In 2014, Roger co-founded Later, the leading social-commerce, influencer, and digital marketing platform for small-business. Starting as the first-to-market Instagram scheduler, Later quickly grew its offering to connect social-media marketing to e-commerce, and pioneered the offering of nano-influencers for small-businesses across all social platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and Pinterest. As Later’s CEO, Roger lead a team of more than 300 people servicing more than 7 million businesses globally, including notable companies like Patagonia, Google, Disney, the Wall Street Journal, Swell, and millions of social-first solopreneurs and SMBs. Prior to Later, Roger navigated the first dot-com bubble, both as a software architect and startup entrepreneur, developing a lifelong passion for entrepreneurship. After growing a series of successful tech companies in Vancouver, he co-founded Launch Academy in 2012, to build a stronger ecosystem to support local startups. Roger earned his MBA from Queen’s University in 2010 and has taught entrepreneurship for their Master of Management Analytics Program. In his downtime, you can find Roger playing board games, writing screenplays or heading to one of his favourite Gulf Island destinations for a round of disc golf.
