Also an Apple Developer, he creates Manhattan Bride's cutting-edge digital and app magazines.Rick’s photos have appeared worldwide, from the cover of a #1 New York Times best-seller to Time, Newsweek, Elle, Dance, Self, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal. On his photo trips he has taken top models, actresses, and dancers to Tahiti, the Amazon, and other exotic locales.The founding Editor-Publisher of Studio 54 magazine, his photos have been exhibited in museums and at the UN, where he received the Award of Excellence from the UN Society of Writers.He graduated near the top of his class from both MIT and Harvard Business School, was a Golden Gloves boxing champion, a business consultant for Samuel Goldwyn Studios in Hollywood, and a computer programmer at the MIT Instrumentation Lab, where he wrote software for one of the Apollo Moonshots.Rick launched a Foundation which he ran for almost 20 years. He held some 40 charity benefits, with annual fund raisers for Homeless Children and Breast Cancer Research. For these charity events he hosted fashion shows, photo exhibits, and awards ceremonies at major venues, including The Plaza Hotel, where he welcomed as many as 800 guests for black tie dinner-dances.Well-attended by celebrities, models, and prominent personalities, these events were covered by newspapers, magazines, and ABC-TV. Over the years, Rick honored Hall of Fame athletes, Oscar winners, Tony winners, Grammy winners, Nobel Laureates, leading medical researchers, and cultural icons. He draws on these charity event experiences to fill Manhattan Bride with real-world solutions and playfulness.As a “Principal for a Day” in the NYC school system in the South Bronx, he also employed inner-city students as summer interns, and for years has been involved with the charities he supports.
