Claim your profileI am currently the Editor-in-chief for the Orlando Business Journal. I formerly served as the Associate Managing Editor, and before that the Senior Staff Writer/Digital Producer covering the industries of tourism, travel, hotels, attractions and sports. I graduated in December 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in anthropology (weird combination, I know) from the University of Central Florida. During my time at UCF, I worked freelance for the Central Florida Future. Prior to my time in college and for some time in college, I held an instructor role at a South Florida martial arts school called One Dragon Martial Arts, where I trained adults and children Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — including training members of law enforcement, as well as later on being a coach for the UCF Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Club. Specialties: Proficient in most audio/video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Audacity), basic HTML knowledge, proficient in social media, reporting, blogging and comfortable on camera.
