Previously, he series-produced the IDA-nominated "Algiers, America" on Hulu, story-produced for CNN's special series "Land of the Giants," directed and produced for CNN's Emmy winning docu-series "United Shades of America," produced for Vox Media's digital news shows "Answered" and "Consider it," and produced for HBO's multi-award-winning documentary program VICE. His stories have ranged from climate change and conflict, to racial justice and sports. Naqvi is a native of Pakistan and Brooklyn. He is a graduate of the Columbia School of Journalism.
