Shortly after graduating from university Randy began his career as a Vatican correspondent in Rome, Italy covering Benedict XVI's papacy as a bilingual reporter. Before covering national news for Telemundo Randy worked as a reporter at Telemundo's local affiliate in the capitol covering D.C. news and local Virginia and Maryland stories. During the summer of 2007 Randy traveled to the Middle East as a backpack video journalist to cover the simmering conflict between Israel and Hezbollah on Lebanon's southern border. Randy graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Double Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science. He is fluent in Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
